In response to an enthusiastic encore from SAPA members, we welcomed Mr. Kentaro Sonoura back for our second symposium of the year. Attendees included VIPs from government and academia, and the discussion was productive, revealing a behind-the-scenes look at international politics.
Mr. Sonoura explained the power structure within the Trump administration and presented US energy policy, the restructuring of the semiconductor supply chain, and trends in AI investment. He also shared insights into Taiwan's security, Japan's energy technology advantages, and challenges facing the international financial system.
