Shigeru Toyama joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1978. After working as a regional coordinator for the 1st Division of Mongolia, China, and as a director of the Security Countermeasures Office, he has served as Consul General of Qingdao, China in 2014 and Ambassador of Solomon in 2018. He, who knows both China and the South Pacific, will talk about what is happening in the South Seas of Japan and guide him as a diplomacy.
