Society for Asia Pacific A ffairs

    The 8th SAPA Meet-up was held on January 29, 2024 from 4:00 pm at the Society for Asia Pacific Affairs (No. of participants10).

    A lecture was given by Mr. Ryuji Yokota, a director of SAPA (Vice-chairman of the NPO Chinese Student Exchange Support Association). He gave lecture on  "Visiting China who have studied there". 30 experienced students, led by Mr. Shoichi Kondo (a member of the House of Representatives) and secretary-general of the Japan-China Friendship Parliamentary League, visited Beijing, hosted by the Study Abroad Service of the Ministry of Education, which corresponds to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of China. In addition they visited to the Beijing Center of Dalian Academy of Advanced Accounting, Peking University, and recent IT companies such as ByteDance, known for TikTok.
